Curiosity
Breloom and its pre-evolution share the category with Paras, Parasect, Foongus and Amoonguss: they are all known as Mushroom Pokémon.
In the anime, in The Race of the Silver City, you can see a colorful Breloom all blue with green collar and the tip of the orange tail.
Origin
It is based on a fungus. It also presents typical characteristics of some marsupials.
Origin of name
Its name comes from the union of the English words “umbrella” (Umbrella) and “mushroom” (mushroom). It could also include the Latin word “bellum”, war (referring to Fighting-type)
